I was checking out the Oscars red carpet and Nicole Richie shut it down in her usual but so well executed vintage attire. It got me thinking about how she used to look; a downright mess quite frankly. I just find it so hard to fully understand how she has changed so much, obviously lost heaps of weight, stopped hanging out with Paris Hilton and acquired a sense of style but there is something else I cannot put my finger on, anyway she looks great and I would pay good money to know her secret!

It is amazing to see how far she has come. I remember my little sister loved watching the simple life all the time and I would totally hate hearing anything about the two bimbos. However I now see Nicole as a style icon, which is a pretty big thing.
I wasn't too fond of her dress at the awards though.

the dress she wore to the oscars is amazing! she really does pull off everything she wears.
seriously it is unreal how much she has changed for the better.
I adore her style now. She and Rachel Bilson just seem to have something that makes me adore every look they put together!

it's kind of amazing, she really transformed into an icon. thanks for the bag advice. i'm glad someone likes the mulberry! it's not an iconic bag but it's a classic shape to and it's much more unique. still, it's a lot of cash so i'm not going to jump to any decisions just yet.
